We’re officially four days out and I’ve hit that very specific phase of pre-trip energy: everything is happening all at once—but the suitcase? Done.

And not just done… strategically done.
This trip is carry-on only (as always), and after a few edits, swaps, and one moment of “do I really need this?” honesty, I’ve landed on a lineup that feels effortless, elevated, and actually wearable across every stop: Seville, Marbella, and Madrid.
🧳 What’s in My Carry-On
I kept this tight, neutral, and intentionally mix-and-match:
Clothing
- 3 t-shirts
- 2 blouses
- 2 long sleeve linen shirts (critical for layering)
- 4 pairs of pants
- 3 tank tops
- 2 bathing suits
- 1 cover-up
- 2 pairs of pajamas
Shoes
- 3 pairs of shoes
- 2 pairs of sandals
- Cognac Vionic sandals
- Black sandals
Accessories
- 3 purses (yes, all necessary)
- 3 scarves (these do a lot of heavy lifting)
Other Essentials
- Socks, underwear, bras
- Blow dry brush + hair straightener
- Vacuum seal bags
- 1 extra vacuum bag (insurance policy)
- Packable duffle for the trip home
✨ Packing Strategy (What Actually Matters)
I didn’t just pack outfits—I packed options that work together.
- Neutral color palette so everything mixes effortlessly
- Linen + light layers for warm days and cooler Marbella nights
- Scarves to instantly elevate basics (and double as wraps)
- Vacuum seal bags to maximize space without sacrificing pieces
- Packable duffle because I already know I’m not coming home empty
Everything in this suitcase has a purpose. If it didn’t go with at least three outfits—it didn’t make the cut.
✈️ My Plane Outfit (Layering = Strategy)
This is where I save space and stay comfortable:
- Comfy trousers
- Kizik walking sneakers
- Classic t-shirt
- Tissue cardigan
- Blazer (structured but easy)
- Scarf (also my in-flight blanket)
- Compression socks (non-negotiable for long haul)
It’s functional, polished, and lets me step off the plane feeling like a person—not a crumpled traveler.
🌿 The Vision for This Trip
This trip isn’t overpacked, overplanned, or overcomplicated.
It’s:
- Morning walks through quiet streets
- Long lunches that turn into afternoon wine
- Beach days that don’t need an agenda
- Golden hour dinners that last longer than expected
Effortless. Elevated. Intentional.
🛍️ The Reality Check
Let’s be honest—this suitcase is not coming home the same way.
Between Seville boutiques, Marbella resort wear, and Madrid shopping (plus a possible outlet situation…), the packable duffle is absolutely part of the plan, not a “just in case.”
