We’ve officially entered the “everything lives on the dining room table” phase. Piles are forming, lists are multiplying, and I’m doing that very Type A thing where I lay it all out so nothing gets forgotten.
This is the last-minute stock-up window:
• Travel-size everything (and backups… because Europe rules are still rules)
• Laundry sheets + a couple dryer sheets for Airbnb refreshes
• Mini first aid kit: Advil, Tums, bandaids, blister pads
• Sunscreen + after-sun (learning from past mistakes)
• Electrolyte packets for travel days
• Tide pen (non-negotiable)
• Extra zip bags + a few vacuum seal bags
• Copies of reservations + a printed itinerary (yes, I’m that person)
Clothing is mostly set, but this is where I fill the gaps—an extra dress, one more “just in case” layer, and making sure every outfit actually works head to toe.
It looks chaotic, but this is the calm before the carry-on-only magic. Next step: edit, refine, and get everything packed with intention.
Anyone else spread their life across the dining room before a trip, or just me?
Cheers to controlling chaos!
Amelia
